蛮奇妙的是对原著的改编和延伸。影片对street kids 生活状态进行描摹（铁轨上蹦蹦跳跳的一场-想起了Gasman...）但小说却 “The woman did not ask the boy anything about where he lived, or his folks” 留白。"I have done things, too, which I would not tell you, son—neither tell God, if he didn’t already know.“ 又二次留白。能理解是因为也曾挣扎过。小说中街上的机锋好像没有呈现，想看。

影片中的情感线细腻而真实，让人感动不已。

特效制作水平低下，画面模糊不清，严重影响了观影体验。

本来只是随便看看，本来是看演员阵容才点开The Pocketbook ，结果故事本身也不算拉胯，没什么特别硬伤。
